Two movies I’d add to the list: “Totò Sceicco” where Antonio De Curtis, a.k.a. Totò, joins the French Foreign Legion and ends up in the mythical Atlantis with – of course – hilarious results, and “Bello, Onesto, Emigrato Australia Sposerebbe Compaesana Illibata”, with Alberto Sordi and Claudia Cardinale for your Australian subscribers to enjoy.

Chiming in to say that a former Italian housemate of mine went around imitating my US accent with an Alberto-Sordi-in-Un-Americano-a-Roma voice for a year. Somehow we’re still friends.
I've seen exactly half of your list, so I have some new films to watch in the coming weeks (though "Totò, Peppino, e la malafemmina" was already on my to-watch list). My favorite of all time is "I Soliti ignoti," your #3. I've actually been in the building they were trying to break into.
I hope you don't mind if I add a few of my favorites, starting with "C’eravamo Tanto Amati" ... or is that off the list because it's not only a comedy? The same rule for "La vita è Bella" or "La Grande Guerra"? Though I guess you already have Gassman, Benigni, and Monicelli on your list.
If I stick with pure comedies, then have you seen "Questi fantasmi"? It's so predictable that it's hilarious.

A comedy I wanted to watch for years, just because the title is so funny (plus, it was co-written by Troisi) is "No Grazie, il Caffè mi Rende Nervoso". But then I saw it and was disappointed.
