Love the sound of this one and as Le Marche is my neighbouring region, its not too far! If you are ever in my region of Abruzzo, may I recommend Taverna 58 in the old town of Pescara

Well that sounds worth the time and map reading to experience! Since I'll be in Italy in October I guess the tourist trade will have settled. The only problem is that my Italian is still in the no-man's-land stage so it will be a challenging time but I'm sure well worth it!

Thanks for the recommendation!

What a wonderful find! What did you think of the Flix Bus? I’ve never done it.

Really not bad. I often use it to go to Marche from Rome. Clean, convenient, cheap, and has bathrooms.

That’s great to know because I’d like to go to Marche and I don’t drive. Thanks!

It always amazing to find these out of the way restaurants in Italy that serve amazing food , far more amazing then the posh restaurants we go to for occasions. This was brought home to me recently when I paid nearly €200 for lunch for my Son and I for his graduation from school in a posh hotel here in Ireland. I would pay that money for a really tasty meal but it was not that it was just ok. I told my Son about how nearly 20 years ago I had found this fabulous restaurant called Il Convento on a the top of a very bad hill track in Toscano that was hands done one of the best dining experience of my life.
