Antonio, half my wife’s family is in Pesaro. She grew up in San Marino. Let’s hope you don’t succeed in persuading too many people to discover Pesaro. It’s that perfect.

Thankfully my Pesaro deep dive (i.e., 8000+ words) coming out on Monday is only for paid subscribers. :)

Wow, 8000 words. For a while I thought about focusing my writing on the places my wife and I go and love over there. She’s from San Marino. Her mother from Pesaro. We’re pretty connected over there. I’m glad your up to the job of explaining where to go, what to do, and what to eat.

Thank you, That’s a good idea. I’d love to read them myself. Late last year I decided to get serious about this Substack, and I spent a few months building up a deep backlog of material, including some guides that are closer to short books. That work is what lets me confidently pursue a schedule of 3 to 4 pieces a week, as I work on new material. The response has been amazing and it means a lot. 🙏🏻

As a New Yorker who has had a home in Le Marche — 10 minutes from Montegiorgio — for 20 years, I can say this is a 100% accurate, honest, comprehensive depiction of the area. Whether it’s for you or not is open to question— it’s not for everyone. But this information is spot-on. Well done!

Thank you very much, Eric. Crazy that you were so close to Montegiorgio. It's a small world.
